New Camera

Thu Oct 4, 2007, 11:52 AM
Well I just got my first ever camera a couple of weeks ago for my photography A level. It's a fully manual camera so I'm still getting used to it because I've never used one before. I'm about to load a couple of pictures from my first ever roll of film, I hope you like them. I think that they came out quite well, seeing as I didn't really know what I was doing at the time.

thanks for putting me on your watch!

keep up the good work; i love your pictures.

also, do you have any tips for scanning sketches? it might just be my scanner, but mine always scan really dark or heavily smudged (as in significantly worse than the actual piece). i can trace them out in pen, but i don't have any good editing programs to change the brightness. would putting something behind it help?

Erm I dont really know. The only thing that I do is use a rubber on any blank parts of the drawing to try and make them stand out and look nice and clean, but as for the scanning I can't say I do anything in particular. My scanner isn't very good so don't worry. To be honest its been so long since I've done any drawings and uploaded them I can't remember. Sorry I'm not much help.
